The Baha’is of Fresno along with like-minded friends are learning how to transform our individual and collective life through community-building activities.  These activities occur in all settings, formal and informal, from homes to schools to parks to community centers.

Service and worship are at the heart of the pattern of community life that Bahá’ís around the world are trying to bring into being. They are two distinct, yet inseparable elements that propel the life of the community forward. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá writes that, “Success and prosperity depend upon service to and worship of God”.

The community-building activities include devotional gatherings, where friends and family unite with one another in prayer; and educational activities for children, junior youth, youth and adults, which help develop capacities necessary to contribute to the advancement of civilization.
